New Sony digital cameras are all given the brand name
Cybershot. Sony makes
cameras for all levels of the consumer digital camera market. The professional
line may not satisfy professional photographers who have demanding
photographic requirements. They use a smaller sensor than other
professional-grade cameras.
Sony also designates their cameras with a DSC followed by their model
letter and number. So, the Sony Cybershot DSC T1 digital cameras are model 1
in the T line of Sony Cybershot cameras. The T cameras are Sony's contribution
to the ultra-compact, pocket-sized, card-style digital cameras.
Sony digital cameras come in three other basic lines. There is the U line
of stylish ultra compact cameras; the P line of personal-use, point-and-shoot
cameras; and the more full-featured F line for the prosumer and professional
markets. They all use the Sony Memory Stick for image storage, except the DSC
F828 which can also use CF cards.
Some Sony digital cameras are not mass produced for sale outside of Japan.
There are lines other than the Cybershot lines that are simply not as popular.
The Sony Mavicas use CD-R/RWs for image storage, if that is something you
prefer. There are also the Sony Qualia cameras that look like spy technology
and have military-sized price tags.
No matter what your price range or skill level you can find a Sony digital
camera that's right for you. When you make the decision to buy a digital camera,
it's comforting to know you're working with one of the top electronics companies
in the world. Sony has been in the business for years, and is known throughout
the industry for innovations and durability.
You can use your Sony digital camera for a number of different applications.
One of the most popular reasons to get a digital camera is to cut back on
developing and processing fees. When shopping for a digital camera it's a good
idea to identify your needs early on. If you don't plan on printing a great deal
of your photos you can go with a lower resolution camera to save money.
Another thing to consider when shopping for a Sony digital camera is
available memory. The memory helps determine the number of photos you can take
at one time. When you fill up the memory in your camera you will need to upload
your photos to your computer. Many cameras come with additional memory cards for
people who have additional requirements.
When you purchase a digital camera from Sony you can find a number of
different models and styles to fit any need. You don't have to worry if you're a
first time digital camera user thanks to the easy to use features of these
cameras. You also don't have to worry about your lack of computer experience if
that's the case. Most of the cameras in the Sony line make it simple to upload
your pictures directly from your camera |
